Blush Brush

This Brush is absolutely amazing! Its super soft, does not shed at all, and I have washed at about 4 times. It’s amazing for setting powders, blush, and bronzers and to blend it all together. It’s not very dense but it is a full brush. It has a tapered shape, and that is surprisingly helpful. I really love this brush, can’t wait to get more! It was 9 to 11 dollars at Fred Meyers.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stains

I have 015 Cherish and 001 Honey

These are compared to the Clinique Chubby Sticks Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm which is $16.00 and the Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint which are $24.00 the Revlon ones are about 7 to 9 dollars. I found mine at Walgreens and they were buy one get one 50% off!

They are minty, smooth and last quite a while. The color lasts but not the shiny crème sheen. They are pretty moisturizing to me but no more than a basic chap stick. They have quite a few colors, a lot of pink and red tones. They are a twist up packaging so the point does go away as you use it. They look like a giant crayon. There is only about an inch and a ¼ of the actual product.

The Top Shade is the Honey and the Bottom more pinky shade is the Cherish.

I also wanted to mention a lipstick I am wearing a lot. It is by Maybelline. It is a Super Stay 14hr Lipstick in 005 Perpetual Peony. It goes on very creamy and shiny but dries to a matte finish. It isn’t extremely drying for a matte lipstick. I can’t say it truly lasts for 14 hrs but it does last for a while. It smells very good, kind of a candy scent but not super sweet. 

I have had mine for about 2 months so the out side is a little scratched up from being in my purse.

I love the product but I wish it was a twist up packaging instead of having to sharpen it because I feel like a lot of the product is sharpened away. Over all it’s a great product and I will defiantly be repurchasing. 

Big Concealer Brush

So… makeup brushes, drug store makeup brushes! There are not as many makeup brushes in the drug stores these days. I was at a grocery store and I was looking at the Ecotools brushes and they do have a pretty large selection of different brushes. I have heard that they are very good brushes but never picked one up. But I finally did about a month ago and I LOVE this brush! I got a larger concealer brush and it is fantastic. It is dense and soft and it just feels like a sturdy brush. I have washed it about 6 times because I am using cream products on it and it has not shed one bit! So far I am very impressed! I am not sure if I will be purchasing more because they are expensive for a drug store brush but I think if I did buy another one I would be happy with it! I Believe mine was around $5.00 but most of the other brushes are around $10.00.

Maybelline Porcelain Collection Lip Sticks

If you are a regular beauty shopper or someone who watches a lot of YouTube videos of guru’s you have probably heard some talk about the new Maybelline Lipsticks! The Maybelline Porcelain Collection Lip Sticks are 100% absolutely amazing! The Colors are compared to many MAC lipsticks and are only 7 to 9 dollars depending on where you get them, if you can find them. A ton of people are having trouble finding them because they are already sold out! From what I have heard they had this collection out last year some time I believe and they have brought it back for a limited time.

As soon as I heard about them I went searching! I found mine at Walgreens. I got 2 of the shades.

Nude Nuances (865)

Nude Nuances is compared to MAC Hue and Porcelain Pink is compared to St. Germain.

They are very creamy and silky smooth. I would recommend wearing a lip balm underneath and exfoliate your lips before wearing them so you can get the full effect. But you know your own lips and can tell what will work best.  The packaging is like all the other Maybelline lip sticks except with matte caps. Also all the lipsticks have the same colored cap so you cant tell the colors apart which kind of bothers me when I am looking for one color in my purse.

At my Walgreens they were about $6.50.

 Pink Porcelain is the top swatch and Nude Nuances is the bottom swatch. 

                                                                        

 French Manicure – Black & Clear

I did my nails last night and it was super easy and turned out very cute. I used the Nailene Perfect Tips French polish guides. They are just “U” shaped stickers you apply to your nails to get a clean tip line.  I used an NYC quick dry nail polish in Blackula. Super cheap but works well. I think its around $0.97 at Wal-Mart. After that was dry I pealed the stickers off and waited a little bit longer so they were very dry then I applied the L.A. Colors Super Strength Nail Builder right over the top. I like using this first because it dries fast and it kind of soaks in to my nails before my actual top coat. 

So I did 2 coats of that then the NYC Long Wearing Extra Shiny top coat. It’s also around $1.00. But I noticed the next day my nails have cracks in the polish. It’s probably not the best top coat but it works for me. I purchased everything at Wal-Mart. It’s a super fun look and you could do it with any color at all! I have also done this with a hot pink and its my favorite way to change up the regular french manicure!

This is my finished result. I did clean up around the edges with Q-tips and Pure acetone. I have short nails but it was still very easy!

Essence Beauty Products

I have seen Essence beauty products talked about from YouTube beauty guru’s that are from Canada. So I assumed this brand was only in Canada. But I recently went to Fred Meyers, a grocery type stores, and found them! It was set up in a very nice display so I am assuming it is new. I only got a lip gloss because I didn't have a lot of time to look but I later found out the one I got is a dupe for NARS Turkish Delight! It is in the shade Nude Candy and it is a XXXL Shine Lip Gloss. For me it doesn’t stay on all that long but that’s because it isn’t very sticky. For me it looks best with a lip stick underneath or even a lip balm. It’s a more sheer color but could be built up. It does have glitters in it but not big chunky glitters. It is a great lip gloss for layering and it was only $1.99!

After finding them at the store I had to go back and I got an eye shadow, “Essence colour & shine eye shadow”. Mine is in 11 mercurios and it is a champagne color. It looks like a baked eye shadow with silver shimmers running through it. On the skin it looks very shimmery and glowy. I love it for a highlight color or an allover eye lid color. I defiantly will be getting more. Only $2.99!

I have been using both of these products now for about 3 weeks now and I am in LOVE with both products! They are truly great cosmetics for what you are paying!
